Congratulations to Michael Palestina '01 and the Loyola National Moot Court Team finished in 2nd place at the 2007 Regional Competiton at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. They will advance to the National Moot Court Competition in New York in January 2008, which will involve the Top 28 out of 185 teams that competed in their respective regional competitions this Fall. Michael Palestina was an attorney on the 2000-2001 Jesuit High School Mock Trial Team that became the first to win a Region I Championship. Michael Palestina (Oralist) was joined by Staci Jirovec (Oralist/Brief Writer), Susannah Barr (Oralist), and Robin Penzato Arnold (Coach). Good luck in New York!
